You also may use discussion boards, email and chat to communicate with your classmates and your instructor. There may be real-time class components for some programs. Can you brief me to about the Course?

LSBC Program offers students the flexibility to take courses and complete it without leaving their homes or jobs. Students can complete their courses ANY time, ANY place and at ANY pace.

The course is delivered online live or in an asynchronous environment. This means instructor and students do not have to be online at the same time for learning to take place or assignments to be completed. Once students are accepted on a course, they may register at any time in the term as courses are offered throughout the academic year. The instructor and Registrar’s Office will assign a specific time limit for completion of online courses.

Students access online courses through our Learning Management System (LMS). This system offers 24-hour access to courses and allows students to submit course assignments, participate in discussions, take quizzes and exams, and interact with their professors and other students for their courses.

What are self-study courses?

Courses that have no end date or one that is far in the future are called “self-paced” or “self-study” courses. Participants can go through the course materials and assignments at their own pace, and often earn a Grade Point/Statement of Accomplishment by completing the assignments. These courses will typically include a way to trigger the system to process and finalize your particular grade in the course and will result in a Statement of Accomplishment being generated if the requirements were met.

Are online programs fundamentally different from the programs offered on our campuses or regional locations within the Linked Sports Business College system?

Whether you learn online, blended learning or at our campus or partner university VVU campus, you learn from experienced instructors, access our rigorous, challenging curriculum and, upon graduation, earn the same degree or credential.

  • Your tutor will always be the first person you speak to if you need academic advice or guidance, they will work with you and to understand the specific challenges you’re facing.

What is the average duration of a Course?

What is a Statement of Accomplishment and archived courses?

Most courses on LSBC offer the ability to earn a point/Statement of accomplishment, based on one’s overall grade in the course.

What are Archived courses?

Courses that have already ended are called “archived” courses. The content in these courses is still available, but it is no longer possible to submit graded assignments, nor earn a Grade Points/Statement of Accomplishment. Some archived courses are planned to run again in the future, sometimes as often as two or three times a year. As a registered user, you’ll be notified via email whenever new courses are announced.

How do Course assessments work?

Assessments are built into each course and are generally in the format of single and/or multiple-choice questions. Courses can have one or more assessments. You will be certified when you complete all the course material and achieve a result of 80% or more in every assessment. You can take the assessment as many times as you like. Just contact your teacher, he will give you access to assessment page and click on the button next to your current score. Your old score will be replaced by your new and improved score.

Please also note that all assessments must be completed in one sitting. This means that if you leave/exit the assessment before answering all questions then you will need to retake the assessment as partial progress is not recorded.

How do I become Certified in my Course or Learning Path?

To become LSBC Graduate, you must successfully complete your chosen course or Learning Path, achieving 80% or higher in all assessments.

Once you complete the final assessment and pass with a result of 80% or more, the course should automatically update to complete.

What will I get if I purchase the Certificate?
