Berekum Chelsea secured a dramatic late victory over Medeama in a tense Premier League encounter at the Golden City Park.
Stephen Amankona gave Chelsea the lead on the stroke of halftime with a well-taken goal, putting the home side in control going into the break.
Medeama, however, fought back and were rewarded in the 89th minute when they won a penalty, calmly converted by Mubarik Yussif to level the game.
Just as it seemed Medeama had salvaged a point, Chelsea stunned their opponents with a 90+9-minute winner. Zakaria Fuseini found the back of the net deep into added time, sending the home fans into raptures and securing all three points for the hosts.
Medeama will next travel to Sogakope to battle Accra Lions at the WAFA Park.
