We will on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 play host to 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League Champions, Samartex 1996 FC at the Tarkwa and Aboso Stadium at 6:00 PM.

The match which was intended for match week 3, was postponed due to Samartex FC’s involvement in the CAF Champions League preliminary round of matches.

Two previous meetings between these sides in the Ghana Premier League, with Medeama Sporting Club as host have gone in favour of the Mauve and Yellows but at the Akoon Community Park.

Medeama Sporting Club on Saturday shared spoils with Kpando Heart of Lions in the matchday 5 clash and would be seeking to return to the summit of the league table this Wednesday by beating our next door neighbours. The team currently ranks third with a point behind Kotoko and Gold Stars who have all played five matches.
