Mr Moses Armah, the President and bankroller of Medeama Sporting Club has this week visited the team at our pre-season camping base at Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana to monitor the progress and situations in camp in relation to welfare of contingents.
Mospacka, as he is affectionately called, as part of his visit welcomed both the new players and the returning squad officially, shared his vision and target for the 2024/2025 season ahead into the club, and what moving to the New TNA Stadium means to the people of Tarkwa.
“I want to officially welcome you all to Medeama Sporting Club both the new and old players. Keep in mind that we are going into a new season, and I want you all to put last season shortfalls behind you and focus on the season is ahead of us.
“Like our motto is, We Never Give Up, so we are going all out for the ultimate this time around, but I know is not going to be easy. We need to fight to be on top if we will want to meet our target”, the President told the player.
He however advised the players on the only way to achieve this saying, “We can never achieve this unless you stay, discipline, training hard and avoid unnecessary attitudes such as laziness, drinking and womanizing. Know this is your career but you will never go far or survive in Tarkwa if don’t focus on your career, especially to the new players.
“Now we are moving to the TNA Stadium and the people of Tarkwa, Nananom, etc. all expects a lot from you. If you put up your best, anything I need to do to support I will go all.”
The President as well had serious of meeting with the Technical Team for progress report since pitching camp in the Eastern Region and encouraged them to work the boys out well for the tough season ahead.
