In a stellar display of talent and determination, four of Medeama SC’s promising players—Kelvin Nkrumah, Richard Dwumah, David Frimpong Boison, and Stephen Borboryo—have made the club proud by winning the Surf Cup tournament in Tangier, Morocco. The tournament, a prestigious 4-day event that attracts top youth teams from around the world, concluded with an exhilarating final match on August 4, 2024.

Representing the FC America U17-U19 team, our players showcased exceptional skills and teamwork throughout the competition. The final match against C.R.B.F. Club Raijae Al Boughaz was a thrilling encounter that ended with a 4-2 victory for FC America. Kelvin Nkrumah was the standout performer, scoring two crucial goals that helped secure the win.

John Cudjoe, Medeama SC’s welfare manager in charge of operations, accompanied the players to Morocco, ensuring they were well-supported throughout the tournament. Reflecting on the team’s success, he said, “I am incredibly proud of our boys. They played with heart and showed the true spirit of Medeama SC. Kelvin, Richard, David, and Stephen demonstrated that hard work and dedication pay off. This victory is a testament to their talent and the support system we have in place at Medeama.”
