The Mauve and Yellows presented a gold medal to the former Administrative Manager of the club.

Hon Benjamin Kessie, who was a long-serving top official of the club, was visibly excited with the side’s Premier League triumph.

He promised his outfit’s continuous and sustained support for the club ahead of the impending CAF Champions League.

A win against Tamale City on the final weekend of the league saw the Mauve and Yellow outfit being crown Ghana Premier League Champions at Akoon Park on Sunday, June 11.

The historic league triumph has been celebrated by the people of Tarkwa. It has given massive excitement to Anglogold Ashanti and other companies.

Next season, Medeama SC will be participating in the CAF Champions League as Ghana’s sole representative.

The team will also hope to mount a strong defense for the Ghana Premier League title.
