Vincent Atingah and his defensive partner Kofi Asmah as well as left-back Benjamin Abaidoo have been nominated for the 2022 Medeama Awards.
Atinga, who is the top scorer for the club with seven goals last season, is in pole position to clinch the top individual award.

Asmah was drafted into the senior team at the start of last season and made an instant impact at the club. He made 34 appearances in all competitions last season for the Mauve and Yellows – the highest by any player.
Left-back Benjamin Abaidoo, who joined the side from Berekum Chelsea, enjoyed a fabolous run of form to emerge as one of the fans’ favourite at the Akoon Community Park.
He clocked 30 appearances as the Mauve and Yellows clinched a deserved second position.
The second edition of the Medeama Awards will take place at the famous Luxury Touch Hotel in Tarkwa on Friday September 2, 2022.
The Award scheme is aimed at honouring outstanding players and officials of the club in the year under review.
