Referee Franklin Akumatey has been appointed by the Ghana Football Association’s Referees Committee to lead a team of officials to officiate Medeama SC’s week 27 away clash against their Dormaa based counterparts, Aduana Stars on Monday, May 2, 2022.
Assistant referees on the day will be Paul Atimaka and Prosper Avinou, as line 1 and 2 respectively in the match which kicks off at 3pm at the Osagyefo Agyemang Badu Park.
Referee Maxwell Tampuri and Mr James Odum will both serve as 4th referee and match commissioner in that order.
Medeama SC won the reverse fixture courtesy Ahmed “Simba” Toure’s second half half volley strike at the Akoon Community Park in Tarkwa and would be seeking a double or a superior two legged aggregate over their opponents on Monday.
The Mauve and Yellow are ranked 3rd with 42 points, two points ahead of 5th placed, Aduana Stars and any result other than a defeat will keep the Tarkwa side in the top 4 spot.
