Medeama Sporting Club’s Vice CEO, Mr. Alfred Owusu, has called on supporters and sympathizers to rally behind the team as they prepare for the second round of the Ghana Premier League and the ongoing MTN FA Cup competition, where the club has reached the Round of 16.

Mr. Owusu emphasized the club’s unwavering ambition to secure a place in the next CAF Inter-club competitions season. “Our target is clear—to compete at the continental level. This is a critical phase, and we need the collective strength of our supporters to push the team forward,” he stated.

Medeama SC, known for its resilience and competitive spirit, has already demonstrated its potential by clinching the Ghana Premier League title two seasons ago and representing the country in the CAF Champions League up to the group phase. With key players and a determined technical team, the club aims to build on its strong foundation for further success.

“We are confident in the team’s ability to deliver. Let’s fill the stands, show our support, and inspire the players to give their best in every game,” Owusu urged.

As Medeama SC eyes another historic campaign, the leadership remains optimistic about making Tarkwa and Ghana proud on the continental stage.

The Mauve and Yellows are ranked 7th on the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League table after 17 matches with 26 points, 7 points less than the current league leaders, Gold Stars, and are through Round 16 of the FA Cup competition.

The team kicks off the second round against Accra Lions this Saturday at the WAFA Park at Sogakope.
