Medeama SC’s standout center-back, Nurudeen Abdulai, has assured fans that the players are ready to fight gallantly until the end of the season to win the Ghana Premier League. Despite being 7th on the table and 7 points behind league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars, Abdulai remains optimistic about the team’s chances.
“We are not giving up, just as our slogan says. There’s still everything to play for, and we’re determined to make our supporters proud,” said Abdulai, who has been one of the league’s most consistent performers, earning several MVP awards since joining Medeama three seasons ago.
With the first round of the league complete, Medeama SC shifts focus to the second round, starting with an away clash against Accra Lions this Saturday at the WAFA Park in Sogakope. The team is gearing up for a strong resurgence, with Abdulai rallying his teammates to bring their A-game.
“We have 17 matches to go, and every point matters. The entire squad is focused, and we’re confident we can close the gap and achieve our goal of winning the league” he added.
As Medeama SC prepares for the decisive half of the season, supporters are encouraged to continue backing the team to fuel their quest for glory.
