Medeama Sporting Club Central defender, Emmanuel Cudjoe is confident the club will make it four wins out of a possible four matches after Saturday’s Ghana Premier League encounter against Kpando Heart of Lions.
The defence leader, who has been in fine form and played active role in Medeama’s winning streak in the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League season, leading the GPL table by accruing 100% percentage record and conceding only a goal in three matches so far, gave this assurance during the club’s pre-match press conference yesterday.
“The feeling is great. We have played three matches with three wins so the match (against Lions) we are playing on Saturday, we will add the win to make it four straight wins.
“I will perform well to help my teammates to bring the victory”, Emmanuel Cudjoe assured.
When asked if he is pressured to perform extra or be a key difference-maker in this game, Cudjoe had this to say,
“I am not under any pressure because if you look at last season, the matches we played, the Champions League and the league. It was last season that I was a bit under pressure but I have played the league and Champions League so there is no pressure on me this time round.”
The dependable Mauve and Yellow defender called on the supporters to come with similar support if not extra of what was shown the team against Basake Holy Stars last Sunday at Aiyinase.
Medeama SC lost four points last season to our opponents, who are now coached by former Medeama SC gaffer, Bashiru Hayford, who has also not tasted any defeat this season and would want to rewrite the script this time, as the Mauve and Yellows chase for the ultimate GPL trophy this time.
