Vice Captain and shot-stopper for Medeama Sporting Club, Appiah Kubi has made public pronouncement on the intent of the playing body in the ongoing 2024/2025 Ghana Football Season during the club’s Corporate Engagement visit to Kamit Engineering Services last Friday.
The club declared Friday, September 20, 2024 as its Corporate and Community Engagement Day, where the playing body and technical team put aside every on-the-field activities aside to join management to visit its valuable sponsors and partners, as well as some selected basic and junior high schools with the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality to fraternise, deepen ties, solicit support and to share the team’s direction and targets for the short and medium terms.
Medeama SC’s entourage were received and welcomed by Kamit Engineering Services staff in the absence of their boss, Mr Kojo Allah, who also sits on Medeama Sporting Club’s board, followed by an introduction of their staff present and their services as a company.
Mr Ebenezer Aidoo, Medeama ‘s Brands and Marketing Manager took time to introduce the delegates, particularly the technical team and captains for the season, as well as thanking Kamit for the long standing partnership and support. He called for a more deepened partnership to propel the Mauve and Yellows unto the next level and most importantly their presence at the TnA Stadium to cheer the team to many more victories.
Technical Director, Augustine Evans Adotey expressed gratitude to Kamit for their financial supports and like Oliver Twist requested for stronger bonds, with an assurance of he going to ensure the technical team up their games in building a formidable side that will bring more football glories to Tarkwa.
First Vice Captain, Appiah Kubi, who was nominated by the captain Kofi Asmah to share the vote of thanks on behalf of the Mauve and Yellows had this to say,
“I want to on behalf of the team and players thank you (Kamit Engineering Service) for the support you having been offering the team. For we the playing playing body, Mr Kojo Allah (Owner of Kamit) has been playing a father figure role in our lives ever since we came to Tarkwa with diverse advise and financial supports. We are indeed grateful to him.
“We want to use this opportunity to make known our intent for the season, and that is to win match after match especially in front of our home fans and to ultimately win the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League for the people of Tarkwa.”
Medeama currently sits second on the Ghana Premier League log with 6points, with same points as leaders, Bibiani Gold Stars. This represent a 100% win rate into the Ghana Premier League after matchday three, with a home game to spare against Samartex 1996.
