Medeama host Nations FC in an outstanding Ghana Premier League match in Tarkwa on Wednesday.

The champions will be playing one of three straight homes, starting with the fixture against the Kumasi-based side.

The two-time FA Cup winners will move out of the relegation zone with a win against the newly-promoted Premier League side.

Coach Evans Augustine Adotey’s side will be eager to return to winning ways after their 2-1 defeat at Dreams FC on Sunday in an ill-tempered match at the Theatre of Dreams.

Medeama will be seeking just their second win of the season ahead of the match against Nations FC with another outstanding match against Nsoatreman loading next week.

If Medeama manage to win their next three home matches, it will catapult the team to the top of the table as they lie 18th on the table with just four points.

Medeama will still be without midfield ‘machine’ Manuel Mantey and Godknows Dzakpasu as well as versatile Baba Musah Abdulai.

Defender Ebenezer Nkrumah is also a major doubt for the match against the Winning is Within side at the famous Akoon Community Park.

Nations FC have also endured a difficult start as they lie 14th on the table with five points from five games.

They left it late to draw 2-2 at home to Asante Kotoko in a controversial stalemate at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

The two teams are expected to sold out an entertaining match in the mining town of Tarkwa on Wednesday, at 3pm.
