Medeama coach Augustine Evans Adotey has been crowned Coach of the Year at the 2023 Ghana Football Awards in Accra.

The experienced gaffer fend off competition from Nations FC coach Johnson Smith and Ghana Olympic Male team coach Ibrahim Tanko.

Adotey, who took over from Umar Rabi steered the side to our first Ghana Premier League title in our history – a momentous feat that has resonated widely in the western region, in particular.

Adotey is expected to lead the technical direction of the team ahead of our impending debut campaign in the CAF Champions League.

The team will also hope to mount a strong defense for the Ghana Premier League title.
