Medeama ended streak of of four successive defeats with a 1-1 draw at Bibiani Gold Stars on match day -7 of the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

Ibrahim Laar cancelled out Kwasi Donsu’s early strike to secure a point for the home side in the Western derby.

Medeama took the lead through Kwesi Donsu in the 13th minute of the game. Fordjour dribbled past his marker and sent a nice through-pass to Donsu who neatly placed it past the goalkeeper.

After the recess, few chances were created, however, neither team could snatch all three points.

The draw lifts Medeama up to 13th.
