Our goalkeeper, Kofi Mensah took the Nasco Most Valuable Player Award in Medeama SC’s first 2022/2023 Ghana Premier League match away at the El-Wak Sports Stadium against Legon Cities.

Kofi, who joined the Mauve and Yellows from Obuasi AshantiGold was this afternoon trusted with sticks, catching the eyes of the match assessors with impressive goal-saving acrobatic saves in Medeama’s 1-0 win.

The shot-stopper had his back lines well organized to shut shop against Legon Cities attacks and whenever his doors were knocked by the opponents, he proved to be equal to the task; justifying the confidence reposed in him by the technical handlers with a debut clean sheet with Kofi Asmah deciding the fate of the game in the 68th minute with the only goal in the game.
