Medeama Sporting Club will on Sunday, September 11, 2022, begin our 2022/2023 Ghana Premier campaign against Legon Cities at the Tema El-Wak Sports Stadium at 3 pm.

Medeama SC after finishing second last season has set sights on clinching the ultimate GPL title and a flying start on Sunday would set the tone for the much envisaged historic moment.

With the addition of young talents like Joshua Agyemang, Derrick Fordjour, and Frank Boateng from the lower tier and the acquisition of experienced GPL talents like Kofi Mensah and Kwadwo Amoako from AshGold and Ishmael Hammond from Elmina Sharks to enrich the exploits of Vincent Atinga, Kwasi Donsu, Darlington Gyanfosu, Jean Vital, Abaidoo, captain Joseph Tetteh Zutah, who is had vowed to win the GPL with Mauve and Yellows before saying bye-bye to football and the likes, the technical team can boast of talents and options aplenty to winning the GPL.

The Ghalca G6 competition in which Medeama finished 4th is expected to give a clear picture of the opponents and challenge ahead of us.

The “We Never Give Up” lads suffered a humiliation fashion start to last season’s campaign against Bechem United by 4-0 in Bechem and also got beaten by our next Sunday’s opponent, Legon Cities by 3-1 at the same venue where the two will face off.
