Medeama top officials have paid a working visit to the T and A stadium to ascertain the extent of work on the ongoing redevelopment of the facility.

Club president Moses Armah, Board Chairman Dr. Tonight Aubynn, and Board Secretary, Emmanuel Larbi Amoah, visited the facility on Monday in the mining town of Tarkwa.

The three top officials have been briefed on the extent of work of the little over 10,000-seater stadium.

The modern stadium is taking shape with work expected to be completed early next year.

The move comes on the back of a successful Board meeting held in Cape Coast on Sunday.

Officials of Gold Fields are pumping in an increased $16.3 million for the reconstruction of the Tarkwa NA Aboso Park.

The 10,000 seater capacity, which is fully fans covered, is estimated to cost $16.3 million and is being funded by Gold Fields Ghana Limited.

The stadium will act as an economic invigorator and will contribute to strengthening the image of the mining town.

The revamped venue will also feature a complete seating capacity and involves redesigning the pitch, VIP, media stands, tickets boot, and drainage amongst others.

The edifice will also boast an electronic scoreboard running around its perimeter
