Medeama SC continued their pre-season preparations with a workout session at the Sakumono Beach in Accra in a move to improve the team’s conditioning ahead of the start of the new season.

Coach Umar Rabi and his charges engaged in purely physical exercises on Wednesday August 31 at the famous beach to keep in shape ahead of the season’s opener against Legon Cities on September 11.

The Mauve and Yellows want to be the early bird that catches the Ghanaian top-flight worm so they have set their stall early ahead of the new season.

The target for the coming season is fairly simple. It is to improve massively on the second-placed finish last season.

The club has taken the bull by the horn in order to keep fit and prepare very well for the upcoming season.

After the beach workout, the team will now be moving to the final stage of preparations where they will play few high profile friendly games before next weekend.

Medeama will take on Legon Cities in the opening match of the 2022-23 season at the El-Wak Stadium on Sunday September 11, 2022.
