Ivorian Boris Mandjui Jnr is in a three-horse race with two other teammates for the Goalkeeper of the Season Award.
The 25-year-old shot-stopper was the club’s number One until he suffered a serious injury which ruled him out of the second half of the season.
The former Association Sportive de L’Indénié gloveman made 16 appearances for the side last season.
He kept 10 clean sheets in 16 matches.
Boris Jnr will face stiff competition from released John Moosie who made 10 appearances and youngster Kamil Anaba, who made 6 appearances.
The second edition of the Medeama Awards will take place at the famous Luxury Touch Hotel in Tarkwa on Friday September 2, 2022.
The Award scheme is aimed at honouring outstanding players and officials of the club in the year under review.
This is the first time that Goalkeepers are going to be rewarded for their sterling displays in the 2021-22 season.
