Referee Joshua Samedji will be at the center of affairs on Sunday at the Akoon Community Park in Tarkwa as Medeama Sporting Club clears our last home match in the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier league season against Accra Lions.

Other matchday 33 appointees by the Referees Committee of the GFA for the Tarkwa clash which kicks off at 3.00 PM are: Isaac Opoku Antwi and Prosper Avinou as assistant referees and Eric Owusu Prempeh are the reserve referee, with Alhassan Seini Seidu as Match Commissioner.

Medeama SC lost in the reverse fixture controversially by a goal to nil with a perfect Kwesi Donsu goal ruled offside, which saw the officiating officials on that day suspended from refereeing afterward.

A win for Medeama would further cement their status among the top four performers of the season. Medeama SC has so far lost only two of their home matches this season; against Dreams FC in the first round and to Kotoko in the second.
