There is fresh breathe in the camp of Medeama Sporting Club as attacker Zakaria Mumuni, who was yesterday rushed in an ambulance to the Holy Family Hospital in Berekum yesterday has been discharged after medical attention.
The player went unconscious after colliding with Berekum Chelsea’s defender Edwin Kuffour 20 minutes into the club’s match-day 29 Premier League fixture which ended goalless at the Golden City Park in Berekum and was rushed to the hospital after some minutes of CPR test on him on the field to bring the situation under control.
Zakaria was given further medical care by the officer on duty, Dr Daniel Agyei, who cleared him to be discharged at exactly 9:02 am on Thursday to join his team mates, who were on standby awaiting is recovery before leaving Berekum.
The players is expected to be given further monitoring before his introduction onto the field.
