Coach Umar Rabi has named Mercurial midfielder, Rashid Nortey, who has been on the sidelines since sustaining an injury in Medeama’s week 19 encounter against Bibiani Goldstars as part of his starters against rivals Karela United at the CAM Park this afternoon.

Also making his debut entry onto Medeama’s starting lineup sheet is striker Sule Musa, as Justice Ato Mensah, who has always had his name as part of the starters since joining the Yellow and Mauves from Elmina Sharks sits on the bench.

Goalkeeper, Kamil Anaaba has been entrusted with keeping the post after his clean sheet and exploits against Techiman Eleven Wonders last Sunday at the Akoon Park.

The team will however be without top scorer, Ahmed Toure and the Skipper and assist provider against Wonders, Joseph Tetteh Zutah today.

The match kicks off at 3 pm this afternoon and Medeama will be hoping to clinch the maximum three points away from one of the team’s fortress venues.

A win for Medeama puts the team to 4th position on the league log.
