Medeama Sporting Club will from today, Tuesday be using the Dompim artificial pitch for their training ahead of their week 21 Ghana Premier League battle with Karela United at Aiyinase.
This shift from their usual training base at the University of Mines and Technology Sports Center is to offer the lads a proper adjustment ahead of this Friday’s match at the new-look Crosby Awuah Memorial Park, which has been a nemesis to the Yellow and Mauves since the Aiyinase side booked their place in the top-flight football in the country.
A win for Medeama could see the team move into the top four spots in the GPL, which the team lags by 2 points behind Bechem United who are ranked 4th.
Medeama beat Karela by 2-0 in the first round and would be seeking to make it double over their nearby rivals.
Below are shots from the team’s training base at Dompim.
