Four Medeama SC players are billed to undergo Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans today at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra today to know the varying degrees of their injuries.
The quartet includes the club’s safest pair of hands, Boris Mandjui Jnr (left knee) and defender Vincent Atinga (left knee), who all managed to play the entire minutes in yesterday’s matchday 17 of the GPL against Dreams FC which the club lost through pain; as well as midfielder Adjei Boakye (right hand), who has been on the sidelines for some time and club’s returnee, Jacob Apau Asiedu (left foot injury).
Boris Mandjui Jnr yesterday after Dreams FC clash was admitted at the Health Plus Hospital in Tarkwa, where he undertook an X-Ray, after which the Doctor recommended he is taken to Accra for MRI scans and further diagnosis.
The injured players who went in the company of the Club’s consultant, Nana Gyebi, will after the scan proceed to see a specialist at the hospital.
