Medeama Sporting club are gradually moving to the top of the GPL table as they chase a second straight win in the Ghana Premier League.
On Sunday, the Mauve and Yellow Boys host the Accra Great Olympics at the Akoon community park confident of snatching all 3pts. Umar Abdul Rabi and his boys will be working very hard to beat the Oly Dade Boy as Medeama has only won two(2) of the last five(5) home fixtures against Olympics. Olympics Head into this game without a loss in their last five(5) fixtures, having conceded just one(1) goal in all five games. Medeama SC in contrast have conceded two(2) goals but have more wins, Three(3) in their past five games heading into Sunday’s fixture.
The Mauve and Yellow Boys are fourth (4th) on the GPL table; four points behind leaders Asante Kotoko, who have 26 points to top the league. Accra Great Olympics are sixth (6th) on the League log.
Medeama goalkeeper Boris Junior Mandjui is in top form after keeping Eight (8) clean sheets so far this season.
Coach Umar Abdul Rabi is gradually stamping his authority on the players since coach Ignatius Osei Fosu departed. A win on Sunday might earn him a nomination for January Coach of The Month.
