Forward Kofi Ansu Patrick scored his first Ghana Premier League goal for Medeama in the 2-0 win over Karela United.

The talented striker scored with a sleek of a touch to hand the home side the edge as they strolled to victory at the Akoon Park.

The young forward found space inside the box after connecting a pass from Joseph Tetteh Zutah and he made no mistake to notch his first goal in the Ghanaian top-flight.

The goal should serve as a massive booster for the talented forward, who is expected to take the league by storm.

“I am very happy to score my first goal for Medeama. This is huge for the club and myself and I look forward to scoring more goals,” he told medeamasc.com

“This will obviously boost my confidence and I hope to make my time here in Tarkwa count.”

Ansu Patrick 4 goals and provided seven assists for second-tier side Berekum Arsenal last season.
