Ghana Premier League champions Medeama Sporting Club are delighted to announce the signing of prolific winger Emmanuel Annor from Nations FC on a three-year contract, keeping the exciting attacker at the Tarkwa and Aboso Stadium until June 2029.

The transfer was successfully concluded following productive discussions between both clubs, with all parties reaching an agreement on the terms of the deal, as Medeama secured one of the most sought-after players in Ghanaian football.

Annor arrives in Tarkwa following another impressive campaign in which he further enhanced his reputation as one of the Ghana Premier League's most dangerous attacking players. Renowned for his blistering pace, direct running, creativity, and eye for goal, the FA Cup winner is expected to add another exciting dimension to Head Coach Ibrahim Tanko's attacking options as the Club prepares to defend its league title and compete in the 2026/27 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.

The acquisition represents a significant statement of intent from the reigning champions, with several clubs having expressed strong interest in the winger before Medeama won the race for his signature.

Speaking to the Club's Communication Department after completing his move, Annor admitted that joining Medeama is the fulfilment of a long-held ambition.

"I am incredibly happy to finally become a Medeama player. This move almost happened two years ago, so to finally be here is a dream fulfilled. I thank God, the management of Medeama and everyone who worked hard to make this transfer possible."

The winger is eager to link up with the Club's exciting young talents and believes the supporters can expect an even better version of himself.

"I have admired what Medeama has built over the years, and I can't wait to play alongside players like Kelvin Nkrumah. I believe together we can form one of the most exciting attacking partnerships in the league. The fans have seen Emmanuel Annor from a distance; now they will see an improved, more determined, and more complete player wearing the Mauve and Yellow."

The 24-year-old also outlined his ambitions for the new chapter of his career, insisting that the Club's lofty objectives align perfectly with his own.

"The standard at Medeama is already very high, and my responsibility is to help raise it even further. We want to successfully defend the Ghana Premier League title, compete strongly in the CAF Champions League, and continue writing history together. These are the challenges that convinced me this was the right place to be."

Before turning his attention to life in Tarkwa, Annor paid tribute to his former club.

"I would like to sincerely thank the President, Board, Management, Technical Team, my teammates and, above all, the incredible supporters of Nations FC. They believed in me from day one and played a huge role in my development. I leave with nothing but gratitude and respect, and I wish the Club every success in the future."

Medeama Sporting Club warmly welcomes Emmanuel Annor to the Mauve and Yellow family and is confident that his quality, experience, and winning mentality will make him an invaluable asset as the Club embarks on another exciting chapter, both domestically and on the continental stage.
