Striker Emmanuel Fobi, 21, joins is a Mauve and Yellow until 2029
Medeama Sporting Club is delighted to announce the signing of Emmanuel Fobi on a three-year contract from Georgian top-flight side FC Dila Gori.
The Ghanaian striker returns home to strengthen the Mauve and Yellow attack as we prepare to defend our Ghana Premier League title and mount another strong challenge on the continental stage.
Fobi arrives with valuable experience from European football, having spent time in Georgia with FC Dila Gori. During his development, he also enjoyed loan spells where he gained regular first-team football, including helping Tkibuli Meshakhte secure promotion after contributing four goals in 29 appearances before continuing his progress with FC Gori. His determination to embrace new challenges abroad has further shaped him into an exciting attacking prospect.
A powerful forward blessed with pace, movement and an eye for goal, Fobi adds quality, energy and healthy competition to Coach Ibrahim Tanko's attacking options ahead of what promises to be another demanding campaign.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, Fobi expressed his excitement about joining the champions.
> "It is a privilege to join a great club like Medeama Sporting Club. I know the expectations that come with wearing this badge, and I'm ready for the challenge. I have come here to work hard every day, fight for this badge and give everything for the supporters. Together, I believe we can achieve great things in the league and in Africa."
Everyone at Medeama Sporting Club warmly welcomes Emmanuel Fobi to the Mauve and Yellow family and wishes him every success during his time in Tarkwa.
