Medeama Sporting Club will on Sunday, September 8, 2024 kick start the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League Season at home against Accra Lions FC at the New TnA Stadium under floodlight at 6:00pm.
The 2022/2023 Champions have vowed to avert their poor finish in last season’s Ghana Premier League with a glittering start to the season by accounting for the last season’s runners up at a new ultramodern 10400-seater capacity stadium as the club chases the ultimate GPL trophy in this campaign.
Last season, Accra Lions picked a point away from the Akoon Community Park in a 2-2 final score in similar fixture, but the Mauve and Yellows have vowed to make the new home grounds a fortress for a visiting team starting this Sunday’s late kick off match.
