There will be all to play for as 3rd ranked Medeama Sporting Club will this Sunday host their closest neighbours, Karela United in the matchday 26 fixture of the Betpawa Ghana Premier League.

The return encounter of Western derby kicks off on Sunday, 16th April, 2023 at 3pm at the Akoon Community Park as the Mauve and Yellows set eye on Karela’s scalp by clinching the maximum points at stake to win both the bragging right over the Aiyinase giants with the biggest focus on moving up the GPL ladder.

The two sides have this season met twice at the Aiyinase CAM Park in both MTN FA Cup and GPL with both ending in a 1-1 draw but Karela got the upper hand by winning the FA cup on post match penalties.
