Medeama Sporting Club center-back Kofi Asmah has been named among Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s 27-man squad ahead of Black Meteors U-23 AFCON qualifiers.

Asmah, who is currently part of the Mauve and Yellows preseason engagement is expected to join his fellow invitees tomorrow Wednesday, September 7 at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence at Prampram to pitch camp in preparation for the winner of the Mauritius and Mozambique clash.

The talented and ever-improving defender comes with his sense of awareness, strong but intelligent tackles, aerial abilities among other qualities, which have seen him graduate from the nation U-20, the Black Satellites.

The Ghana Black Meteors are currently on the by for the first round of the Morocco U-23 African Cup of Nations to be staged in Morocco next year.
