Biography
Dacosta became a popular figure with supporters and team-mates alike, with his agility, reflex and reactions making him an excellent shot stopper in our net, in addition to being a formidable presence in the air and comfortable with the ball at both feet. 2020-21 Dacosta impressive start to life at Tarkwa, Medeama SC included a run of six consecutive clean sheets during MTN FA CUP. The goalkeeper commanded his area well and made a number of crucial stops as the MEDi defeated many clubs to the 2020/21 MTN semi Final, as well as producing a sublime performance at Akoon Park to ensure we left with a point against other clubs.

He made some big saves during 2020/21 GPL season, played in front of a small crowd at Accra Sports Stadium, as we reached the five of the Ghana Premier League table with the three points.

Dacosta was instrumental to our MTN FA  CUP success, with his impact highlighted by his record-breaking nine clean sheets.

No goalkeeper had recorded more shutouts in Ghana’s elite club competition in a debut season.
