Biography

The versatile defender has been one of the most outstanding players at the club since he signed his first professional contract in 2014 after joining from third-tier side Dawhyena United.

An absolute master-brainer, Yaro has contributed immensely to the rapid rise of the club over the past decade. He has been out of the club once – a loan spell at USL side Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC in the 2019-2020 season.

A member of Ghana’s Olympic team, Black Stars B and national Teqball player, Yaro has distinguished himself in the Mauve and Yellows shirt. He has won one FA Cup, One Super Cup and continues to write in his name in gold with enviable performances.

Yaro is a ball-winning machine. He provides decent crosses for his forwards and supporting his winger on that side. He’s superb at offering overlapping runs down the right and he’s an asset down that flank.

The 25-year-old is extremely versatile as he can operate as a centre-back effectively as well.
