The 21-year-old was introduced in the second half at the Stade d’Honneur de Meknčs in Morocco, adding his name to the list of players who’ve represented Ghana at the highest level. While his time on the pitch was brief, the calm and composed midfielder made the most of his opportunity — capping off what was a perfect birthday gift.
Ghana’s goals came from Mohammed Salisu, Thomas Partey, Alexander Djiku, Jordan Ayew, and Kamaldeen Sulemana in a display that showcased the Black Stars’ dominance and attacking flair.

Speaking after the game, captain Jordan Ayew urged his teammates and fans to stay focused ahead of Sunday’s final qualifier.
“Nothing changes for us. It’s still an important game — there’s something at stake, and that’s to win and finish the job,” Ayew told 3Sports. “We don’t want to get carried away. We want to finish hard and strong, and make our fans proud.”

With 22 points and top spot in Group I, Ghana now prepare to face Comoros on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 7 p.m. local time — a match that could officially confirm their place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
