A Champion Departs: Medeama SC Confirm Salim Adams’ Transfer to Al Hilal Omdurman

Ghana Premier League champions Medeama Sporting Club can confirm that midfield sensation Salim Adams has completed a permanent transfer to Sudanese powerhouse Al-Hilal Omdurman for an undisclosed fee.

Salim leaves Tarkwa after a remarkable maiden season in Mauve and Yellow, having joined Medeama ahead of the 2025/26 campaign and playing a pivotal role in the club’s march to a second Ghana Premier League crown and a semifinal berth in the MTN FA Cup.

In what will go down as one of the finest individual campaigns in the club’s recent history, the midfield dynamo made 26 league appearances, scored 11 goals, and amassed an incredible eight NASCO Player of the Match awards—the highest by any player in the division.

Blessed with boundless energy, technical brilliance and an eye for spectacular goals, Salim quickly established himself as the heartbeat of Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s side. His thunderous strikes from distance, dead-ball mastery and unwavering consistency propelled the Mauve and Yellows to league glory and earned him the prestigious accolade of Medeama Sporting Club’s Player of the Season.

From unforgettable performances against some of the league’s biggest clubs to decisive contributions in the title race, Salim’s impact extended far beyond statistics. His quality, professionalism and winning mentality left an indelible mark on the club and its supporters.
