Medeama Sporting Club’s exciting young winger Kelvin Nkrumah has been crowned the club’s Player of the Month for March, edging out strong competition from Jacob Amu Mensah and February’s standout performer Fatawu Sulemana.
The award, powered and sponsored by Mr Tee Shoe and Unisex Boutique, recognizes Nkrumah’s explosive impact during the month—one that firmly announced his arrival on the big stage.
After opening his account for the season in spectacular fashion, Nkrumah never looked back. The wonder kid bagged four goals in March, headlined by a sensational hat-trick in the MTN FA Cup quarter-finals against Attram De Visser, a performance that not only secured qualification but also marked his first goals of the campaign. He followed it up with a spirited display against Dreams FC, scoring Medeama’s consolation in a narrow 2-1 away defeat.
His electrifying form, direct attacking play, and eye for goal quickly endeared him to the fans, who ultimately decided the winner through a supporters’ voting process.
The award was officially presented on Sunday following Medeama’s impressive 2-0 victory over Bibiani Gold Stars at the TnA Stadium. The presentation was led by Eric Tetteh Kwaw, CEO of Mr Tee Shoe and Unisex Boutique and Mr Tee Foundation.
Nkrumah’s rise has added fresh firepower to the Mauve and Yellows’ attack, and his recognition as Player of the Month underlines both his talent and growing influence within the team.
A star in the making, shining brighter with every game.
