Medeama SC right-back, Kamaradini Mamudu, has sent a strong message of intent ahead of the club’s top-of-the-table clash against Aduana FC in Dormaa this Saturday, insisting the team is determined to return home with at least a point — if not all three.
Speaking during the club’s pre-match press conference on Thursday, Mamudu reaffirmed the team’s fighting spirit and confidence heading into the highly anticipated fixture at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, scheduled for 3:30 p.m. kickoff.
“We are not returning from Dormaa without a point — if not three points,” Mamudu declared passionately. “The spirit in camp is high, and we know what this game means to the fans and to our position on the table.”
Kamaradini didn't not lose sight of the fact that Dormaa is one of the dreaded venues for visiting teams but believe fetching points or sharing honour with the Ogya boys at their backyard is a possibility.
The goal-scoring defender also urged the teeming Medeama faithful to once again rally behind the team, just as they did last weekend in Hohoe, where the Mauve and Yellows battled to a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Hohoe United.
“We felt the presence of our supporters in Hohoe — it gave us great energy. We want to see them in Dormaa too, standing with us as we fight for victory,” he added.
Medeama SC currently sits one point behind league leaders Aduana FC, and Saturday’s encounter promises to be a thrilling contest that could potentially change the face of the Premier League table.
With confidence high and unity strong within the squad, the Mauve and Yellows will look to make a big statement in Dormaa as they push to reclaim the top spot.
