Medeama SC has been handed a major boost ahead of their Matchday 9 Ghana Premier League showdown against Aduana FC in Dormaa, with creative midfielder Fuzzy Taylor declared fit and available for selection.

Head Coach Ibrahim Tanko confirmed the news during the club’s pre-match media engagement on Thursday, revealing that Taylor has fully recovered from the injury he sustained in Week 4 against Nations FC at the TNA Stadium on October 5, 2025. The dynamic midfielder was forced off in the 63rd minute of that encounter and has since missed four consecutive matches.

“Fuzzy is back and ready to play,” Coach Tanko said. “He has worked hard in recovery, trained well this week, and is available for selection on Sunday. His return gives us more creativity and options in the middle.”

However, the coach also confirmed a setback, with club captain Mubarik Yussif ruled out of the highly anticipated top-of-the-table clash. The experienced defender, who pulled a hamstring during Medeama’s 2–1 victory over Dreams FC in Week 5, is still undergoing rehabilitation.

“Mubarik is still out; we don’t want to rush him,” Coach Tanko added. “We have capable replacements who have done well in his absence, and we’ll continue to monitor his progress.”

Medeama SC will travel to Dormaa Ahenkro to face Aduana FC in what promises to be a thrilling contest between the top two sides on the GPL log. The Mauve and Yellows, second with 17 points, are just one point behind Aduana (18), making Saturday’s clash a potential table-turner.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 PM at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Stadium.
