Medeama Sporting Club has set off to the Ashanti Region for its week 21 Ghana Premier League encounter against Nations FC at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Abrankese.
The delegation, led by Chief Executive Officer Mr James Essilfie, comprises a 20-man squad and the technical team headed by Head Coach Ibrahim Tanko, as the Mauve and Yellows prepare for another crucial test on the road.
The match is scheduled for Friday, January 30, 2026, with kick-off at 3:30pm.
Sitting proudly at the summit of the Ghana Premier League with 43 points, Medeama travel with a clear mission — to push for the maximum three points and further tighten our grip at the top of the table, protect the club's undefeated streak, and make it double over the the Ashanti Region club. Two goals from Abdul Salam and Emmanuel Owusu handed Medeama SC a 2-1 victory when Nations visit Tarkwa in the first round.
