Medeama SC striker Kelvin Obeng has began full training with the Mauve and Yellows ahead of the side’s crucial matchday nine encounter against league leaders Aduana FC in Dormaa.
The highly rated forward, who joined Medeama during the summer transfer window, had been sidelined following a surgery on an injury he sustained prior to signing for the Tarkwa-based side.
After successful medical procedures and weeks of rehabilitation, Kelvin returned to the pitch to join his new teammates in training this week and has since participated fully under the close supervision of Head Coach Ibrahim Tanko.
The technical team is carefully monitoring his progress, and if deemed ready, Kelvin could mark his long-awaited debut for Medeama this weekend — coincidentally against his former club, Aduana FC.
His potential return adds a significant boost to Medeama’s attacking options as the team aims to close the one-point gap separating them from the league leaders in what promises to be a top-of-the-table clash.
Fans will be eager to see the dynamic forward back in action, especially in a fixture that carries personal and competitive importance.
