Form & Momentum
SC Medeama go into the encounter in imperious form, sitting top of the GPL table with 34 points, and unbeaten in 14 consecutive league matches. Across all competitions, our run stretches to 16 matches unbeaten, underlining the consistency and resilience of Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s side.
The team’s momentum has been further boosted by back-to-back victories:
1–0 win over Hearts of Oak in the league last Sunday
3–1 FA Cup triumph over Bibiani Gold Stars on Wednesday
The objective is clear — make it three wins on the bounce and extend our dominance at home.
Opposition Watch
Young Apostles arrive in Tarkwa knowing the challenge that awaits. Medeama claimed a 2–0 victory in the first-round meeting, played at the Apostles’ backyard in what was also the opening match of the season. Sunday’s fixture is therefore the reverse tie and the first test of the second round for both sides.
Fortress TnA Stadium
The TnA Stadium has continued to grow into a fortress, driven by the unwavering support of our fans and the team’s tactical discipline and attacking efficiency. Medeama will once again rely on the 12th man to set the tone from the stands and push the boys toward another vital result.
Call to the Mauve & Yellow Family
We call on all supporters, sympathisers and football-loving fans across Tarkwa and beyond to flock to the TnA Stadium and rally behind the Mauve and Yellow flag as we begin the second half of the season on home soil.
The mission remains the same: focus, consistency and victory.
