Medeama Sporting Club picked up a valuable away point after playing out a goalless draw with Bibiani Gold Stars at the Bibiani Dun’s Park, in their outstanding Matchday 14 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
It was an intense, end-to-end contest, with both sides showing clear hunger and urgency to find a breakthrough. Gold Stars threatened with direct play and quick transitions, while Medeama responded with structured build-up and purposeful movement, but neither side could find a way past well-organised defensive lines.
On the occasions the defences were breached, the goalkeepers stood firm, producing assured saves to deny any scoring opportunities and keep the contest finely balanced until the final whistle.
Speaking after the game, Head Coach Ibrahim Tanko expressed satisfaction with the performance and character of his players, highlighting their discipline and resilience in a difficult away fixture. The result ensures Medeama end the year 2025 on top of the Ghana Premier League table with 31 points, a significant milestone heading into the new year.
With the hard-earned point in Bibiani secured, the Mauve and Yellows now turn their focus to their final fixture of the first round, determined to carry momentum into 2026.
