Medeama Sporting Club returns to home soil on Monday, December 22, 2025, as the Mauve and Yellows welcome Basake Holy Stars to the TnA Stadium in a fiercely anticipated Western Region derby under the lights.

The Week 14 Ghana Premier League encounter is scheduled for a 4:00pm kick-off, with Medeama aiming to continue their strong push at the top end of the table.

Currently second on the GPL standings, Medeama SC sit just one point behind leaders Aduana FC, who have accumulated 27 points, with the Tarkwa-based side also holding the advantage of a game in hand. Victory on Monday will further tighten the title race and underline Medeama’s credentials as genuine contenders this season.

Head Coach Ibrahim Tanko and his charges are fully aware of the challenge ahead, as they face an in-form Basake Holy Stars side who have proven to be stubborn opponents in recent outings. Beyond league points, local pride will also be at stake as two Western Region rivals lock horns in what promises to be an intense and tactical battle.

With momentum building and the home crowd expected to play a decisive role, Medeama SC will be looking to impose their authority, control proceedings, and edge past their determined neighbours in a fixture that could have significant implications at the summit of the league table.

All roads lead to the TnA Stadium on Monday for what promises to be a captivating derby showdown.

Never Give Up.
