Medeama Sporting Club midfielder Salim Adams delivered a masterful performance on Sunday to earn the NASCO Man of the Match award as the Mauve and Yellows rallied from behind to defeat Berekum Chelsea 2–1 at the TnA Stadium.

Salim was the heart of Medeama’s second-half resurgence, dictating play with his trademark intensity, intelligent passing, and relentless midfield dominance. His influence grew as the game progressed—and it was his moment of brilliance in the 69th minute that sealed all three points for the league leaders.

Receiving a well-laid pass from captain Manuel Mantey, Salim took a confident touch and unleashed a precise long-range strike that bent beyond the reach of goalkeeper Richard Ofori Antwi, giving Medeama their first lead of the match and ultimately securing the win.

Beyond the goal, Salim’s all-round display—ranging from his aggressive ball recoveries to his progressive driving runs—kept Medeama in control throughout the second half. His work rate and composure under pressure proved pivotal as Medeama overturned the deficit to maintain their position at the top end of the league table.

This MVP award is a testament to Salim’s growing influence in the team and his ability to rise to the occasion when it matters most.

Congratulations, Salim Adams — a worthy winner!
