Medeama SC goalkeeper and Black Galaxies shot-stopper, Felix Kyei, has declared his ambition to break into the senior national team, the Black Stars of Ghana, as he continues to build momentum with consistent performances in the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking after Medeama’s recent fixture, Kyei revealed that earning a call-up to the Black Stars remains one of his biggest professional dreams—especially with the 2026 FIFA World Cup fast approaching.
“It is the dream of every professional footballer to represent the nation at the highest level. For me, a Black Stars call-up will be a dream come true,” he said.
Kyei, who has been a key figure for the Black Galaxies, believes hard work and continuous improvement are the only pathways to achieving that milestone. He emphasized his commitment to performing at his peak for Medeama SC, knowing strong club performances open doors at the national level.
“I always push myself to improve game after game. I want to be better every week, and I know that with consistency, the opportunity will come,” he added.
The goalkeeper’s form has been instrumental in Medeama’s impressive start to the season, and his leadership at the back continues to earn him widespread recognition across the league.
With the next phase of World Cup qualifiers approaching, Kyei remains hopeful that his effort and commitment will attract the attention of the Black Stars technical handlers.
Medeama SC continues to stand firmly behind its number one goalkeeper, confident that his discipline, growth, and ambition will put him on the path to achieving his national team dream.
