Striker Michael Sarpong scored his first goal for Medeama in our 2-1 win over Nzema Kotoko to progress in the MTN FA Cup on Sunday December 1, 2024.

Sarpong sealed victory with a sublime header give the Mauve and Yellow the edge in an entertaining knockout match at the Ampain AAK II Sports Arena.

Osah Bernardinho Tetteh put the visitors in front via the spot kick before the second-tier Ghanaian side pulled parity.

But Michael Sarpong got his name on the scoresheet with his debut goal for the two-time FA Cup winners.
